Have you been to the alleys of Ximending? Differ from the pop culture stuff on the streets, the alleys are the space for subculture people. As you can imagine, there are graffiti on the walls, skateboard players, and the street style clothing. Once these elements gathered, there are interesting combinations to be explored. However, lots of people are biased to subculture. So theyre not willing to stroll on St. America. And the purpose of setting Braffiti at the entrance of St. America is to attract people to get in with positive cognition. The braffiti will guide you to express your praise, that is, bravo, to the graffiti on the walls. If you bravo it with different gestures, different graffiti will appear. That is, Braffiti wont get you bored.

Every urbanite has their own life pace. Some peoples life pace is as fast as energetic rhythms. On the other hand, some people may feel more comfortable with slow life pace. Since the noisiness of Taipei fills up our ears, we start to lose concentration on those unique rhythms. Just like we always lose focus on the rhythm of our footsteps unconsciously while walking on streets.CitiPace transforms the speed of walking into visual in order to let us examine our own walking pace. Moreover, well not only start to notice our speed but also consider which one is more suitable for each of us.

Glamorous and fashionable is the general impression we have toward the eastern district of Taipei. Nonetheless, street vending in the area is prevalent, and the conflicts between vendors and stores were observed in our field study. Since street vending is perceived as part of Taiwanese culture, we have decided to create a new way to foster the reciprocal relationship between vendors and stores.Customers of vendors will receive RockPon. After they rotate it around fingers, it will direct customers to the cooperating stores.RockPon aims at creating win-win situation between vendors and stores, and it provides unforgettable shopping experience in the eastern district.

Due to the severe cigarette butts problem in Ximenting, we aim to solve this environmental issue in this work. To cope with such problem, we combine the traditional butt bucket with the famous Japanese gameElectric Stick on our innovation. Instead of proposing ways to collect the butts automatically, we believe alluring the smokers to throw the butts in the right place would be a better solution. Further, Electric Stick is against the players with shaky hands, which could hint that you should quit smoking to the smokers. From the user tests, we are able to find that our proposed device successfully guides some smokers throwing the butts in the right place.
