Nestlé sells its stake – now fully owned by SAirRelations/SAirGroup

Headoffice relocates from Zürich to New York

2001

Swissôtel being taken over by Raffles Holding International

2005

Raffles International being taken over by Colony Capital LLC

2006

FRHI Holding Limited founded

2015

FRHI with over 110 hotels under the Fairmont, Raffles, and Swissôtel brands

2002

Swissôtel management came across the former “Nankai South Tower Hotel” in Osaka and singed a rent agreement with Nankai Electric Railway.

2003

Take over and Rebranding was completed with Grand Opening in September 2003

It is located in the midst of bustling Namba above Namba Nankai Train Station, the Midosuji Subway as well as the 8 story Takashimaya Department store complex

The hotel continuously renovated and upgraded the Guest Rooms, Restaurants and public Areas to stay up to date with the latest technologies as well providing Quality In Life to reward our valuable Guests with what really matters in Life; Happiness.....
