Weerbaar Telen
• De genoemde middelen vallen onder compost, micro9organismen, organische extracten en meststoffen.
• Weerbaar telen biedt perspectief op basis van zowel de wetenschappelijke literatuur als praktijkervaringen van telers. Er wordt echter niet altijd een effect gezien.
• Telers zijn zelf vooral tevreden over een concept aanpakmet een waterbehandeling als onderdeel hiervan, en het gebruik van compost of compostthee en wieren of algen.
• Er zijn echter belangrijke knelpunten, zoals wettelijke toelating, kennis over optimale omstandigheden voor middelen, homogeniteit in samenstelling en houdbaarheid.
• De werkzaamheid van middelen of maatregelen tegen ziekten en plagen een groot vraagteken omdat er geen snelle meetmethoden zijn.
• In de natuur is meestal een stapeling van mechanismen verantwoordelijk voor een drastische afname van de schade aan de plant. Ook met het oog op het vergroten van de kans dat een behandeling de doorslag geeft is het aan te raden om te kiezen voor een concept benadering met een stapeling van mechanismen.

Conclusie
� Chemische GWB noodzaak voor ingrijpen.
� “Biologische” middelen ingezet als preventief en binnen een
concept/systeem aanpak. Gebrek aan meetmethoden voor
bepalen effectiviteit, factsheets en wettelijke toelating.
� Resistentie veredeling economisch rendabel voor enkele
gewassen, maar vaak “overruled” door vraag uit markt. Vraag
is hoe stabiel die resistentie in praktijk is.
� Wettelijke toelatingen en RUB situatie noodzaak maar
vertragen mogelijkheden; deze is niet nodig als er indirect –
bijv. via een weerbare bodem – wordt gewerkt.
� Weerbaar Telen als innovatie voor “groen” imago Holland Glas
BV?
