APLICACION DEL HEC-HMS PARA ESTUDIOS HIDROLOGICOSALUMNO: MUCHA HERRERO HAROLD FERNANDOCATEDRA: HIDROLOGIADOCENTE: ING. ABEL MUIZ
INTRODUCCIONHMS es un programa complejo que calcula el hidrograma po una cuenca si le facilitamos datos fisicos de la ceunca, datos precipitaciones, etc.Las diversas fases de trabajo del programa pueden esquematizarse asi:
HEC-HMSHMS Hydrologic Modeling System
VENTAJAS HEC-HMSPUEDE SER APLICACDO A UNA VARIEDAD DE CUENCAS CON DIFERENTES VALORES Y CARACTERISTICASAPLICACIONES GRAFICAS Q HACEN SU FACIL ENTENDIMIENTO DE RESULTADOS (HIDROGRAMAS)
PARA COMENZAR UTILIZAR HMS DEBEMOS ABRIR UN NUEVO PROYECTO.DENTRO DEL PROYECTO SE GUARDAN TODO TIPO DE DATOS DE LA CUENCA, DE LAS PRECIPITACIONES, ETC. LOS COMPONENTES BASICOS SON:COMPONENTES
EJEMPLO DE APLICACION
DATOS DEL PROBLEMA:CUENCA DE 32 km2 (NO SE DISTINGUE NINGUNA SUBCUENCA). HEMOS CALCULADO EL TIEMPO DE CONCENTRACION EN 155 MINUTOS.SOBRE ELLA CAE LA SIGUIENTE PRECIPITACION NETA (YA SEPARADA DE LA P TOTAL)2:00-3:00=5.1 mm3:00-4:00=2.8 mm4:00-5:00=0.0 mm5:00.6:00=3.0 mm
Paso 1File > New Proyect
Paso 2Components>Basin Model Manager>New
Segn este mtodo el lag es 0.6 x tiempo de concentracin, es decir 155 x 0.6 = 93 minutos
DATOS DE PRECIPITACION: Components>Time Series Data Manager>New
MODELO METEOROLOGICO: Components>meteorologic model Manager>New
ESPECIFICACIONS DE CONTROL: Components>Control Specifications Manager>New
EJECUCION
***Basically, one of the Army Corp of Engineers missions is to provide information for making decisions that deal with designing, planning, and managing engineering projects that deal with the environment, for instance, flooding.
HEC-HMS is one of the programs they have to developed to help them provide this info.
Basically, HMS is designed to simulate precipitation runoff processes of dendritic watershed systems.
HMS is a numerical model that predicts rainfall runoff characteristics by simulating the watersheds behavior.**A number of applications include:*Others?*A study that analyzes flooding problems in developed watersheds.
*****When you have this info for both conditions, the effects of future development can be seen.*DEM will be accurate enough here b/c this is a large watershed and the study area is hilly.Gauging stations are for calibration.HUC is not really required
