over time. Knowledge stems from different backgrounds and are

different in shape and form. It creates a

mosaic that is unique to a person’s identity

and knowledge. For this Portfolio, these shapes show different experiences that help

Seminars Attended:February 4, 2015: Design Matters: In a Constant of Engagement – University of Calgary•Sujit Nair, from SDeG Architects, lectures on how design operates at the intersection of extreme contextual contrasts, and the opportunities these present for dialogue, in Indian cities and habitats.

January 21, 28, 2015: Baconfest 2: The Human Scale and Radiant City – City of Calgary•Series of lectures that bring up urban issues in city planning and development. In The Human Scale, Danish architect and professor Jan Gehl explores human behavior in cities through 40 years of research. In Radiant City, Gary Burns explores the advent of post-World War II suburbia to its present state.

process of what the community would look like towards a redevelopment

plan. This included intensification of current land-uses and putting high

density residencies along the steep incline of Edmonton Trail.

Calgary Home project Contest for the Canadian Home Builders’ Association - Calgary Region(Winter 2007) 2nd Semester arch 371 residential projectMedium - Layout - AutoCAD 2007/ Color-PhotoshopThis was a first year project to design a home under 2000 square feet. The Proposed property for this contest was Lot 07 in Rural Rockyview at the corner of Artists View Way.it became a challenge to construct a house as the area had a steep incline. I used several modern ideas and was able to create a house using curves along several rooms with a walk-out basement. These plans also incorporated a list of requests by a fictional client which included a multi-functional room for their daughter and a full butler pantry.

This was the final layout for a new development on the existing

Kensington art store. The new buildings incorporates a lower

cafe, main level retail and upper residence. sketches and local

building bylaws shaped and formed the final commercial design of the

structure.

Urban Studies 591 Community Planning Group project(Winter 2013) Capstone Project for Urban Studies 591Contribution- Changing Land-uses when integrating Light Tram Rail in BridgelandMedium - Proposed Densification Map - Adobe Illustrator

To create the final map, numerous cross-references towards city bylaws, existing land uses and sketches from group discussions were used to help visualize what the community will look like if implemented.This was a group effort towards an opportunity to create a comprehensive neighborhood redevelopment plan for the surrounding three communities of Renfrew, Brigdeland, and Crescent Heights.
