Has January got you feeling cold?
Warmth is coming - Tea Season is just around the corner...
Immaculate Hear of Mary School will be hosting their Annual Tea on
Sunday, February 7th at 650 Flora Avenue, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. While you
visit, enjoy the craft boutique, bake room and raffles.
Congratulations!
Our congratulations go out to Mr. Robert Obirek for running in the
Winter Olympic Torch Relay this past Thursday in Portage la
Prairie and braving the incredibly cold weather.
Blessing of Homes
Enclosed in the last bulletin was a family home blessing prayer for you to
use. If you have not had your home blessed by a priest for some
time you are encouraged to invite Fr. Mark to come and
bless your home. Sign up in the church narthex.
When Fr. Mark comes to bless your home, there should be
a candle, and an icon or cross on a table covered with a
clean cloth. Everyone who is home should participate in
the blessing. Please turn off the TV, radio, stereo, etc., as
this is a service of the Church. A member of the family should take the candle
and lead Father through the house.
