History of Advent Taiwan

Since 2005, Dr. & Mrs. Joseph and Esther Chang have been leading young students back to Taiwan for English teaching.  Each summer, while the weather is hot and humid, the young American students spent their summer, sweating in the field of Taiwan, not only teaching English but also communicating the love of Jesus Christ to thousands of young hearts there.

From 2005 to 2007, the team has been based in Evangelical Formosan Church in Irvine, where Dr. Joseph Chang served as the senior pastor.  Since 2008, the name has been formally changed to Advent Taiwan to incorporate more talented and gifted teachers of similar burden to bring blessings to the land of Taiwan.
