1. invite 邀请 v. invitation 邀请 n. e.g. He invites me to his party. Thank you for inviting me to your

party. Thank you for your invitation to your

home.invite sb. to (do ) sth. 邀请某人干某事 e.g. He often invites us to go to the cinema

with him.

Important and difficult points

2. cinema 电影院 go to the cinema= go to see a film /the

films ( 去看电影 )

Let’s go to the cinema.=Let’s go to see

the films.

at the cinema 在电影院 They are at the cinema.

e.g. The team are having a rest. 队员们正在休息。

Their school football team is a good team. 他们的校足球队是一个好的球队。

表示“在队里”用介词 in/on

3. team “ 队伍” , 是一个集合名词，如果强调队里的每一个人时 , 谓语动词用复数 , 如果强调一个整体 , 谓语动词用单数。

family class 也有类似用法。

e.g. He is in/on the school football team.4. match 比赛e.g. There is going to be a football match

this evening. 今天晚上将有一场足球赛。

We’ll have a basketball match with Class Two.

我们将与二班进行一场篮球赛。 have a match with 与…进行比赛

5. Let’s 是 Let us 的缩写形式，但 Let’s 包括说话人在内 , 在以 Let’s 开头的祈使句中 , 可加一个简短问句 shall we?用来征求对方的意见。

e.g. Let’s play games, shall we?Let us 不包括说话人在内 , 在以 Let us

开头的祈使句中 , 可加一个简短问句will

you? 使口气变得客气一些。e.g. Let us have a rest , will you ?

6. look, see 与 watch 的用法 look 是“看” , 经常和 at 搭配 ,

look at 　看……　如： Look at the picture ． see 是“看见”。如 : Can you see the picture? watch 是“观看”如 : He is watching TV now.read books 看书
