Linear IgA bullous dermatosis: case reportA 29-year-old man developed linear IgA bullous dermatosis

(LABD) following treatment with moxifloxacin for sinusitis.The man had received treatment with moxifloxacin [dosage

and route not stated] for one week and one week after thetherapy was stopped, he developed erythematous pruriticblisters. His physical examination showed erythematousmacules, vesicles and bullae with an annular configuration onhis neck, trunk and proximal limbs. The histopathologicalresults showed a subepidermal blister with dense neutrophilicand eosinophilic infiltration. Linear deposits of IgA were foundat the basement membrane zone. He was diagnosed withLABD.

The man was treated with antihistamines and steroids. Theeruptions resolved in 3 weeks.
