NOAHMay - July, 2011

週一回のサレジオ幼稚園の星の子ひろば。穏歩も皆と一緒に母から離れて紙芝居や手遊びをして楽しんでいました。後ろの赤いTシャツを着ているのが穏歩。Storytime at a preschool visit. Noah is center bottom.

穏歩も手伝って、初めてピザを食べました。自分用にはチーズたっぷり、ママとパパにはチーズちょこっと。Noah put a ton of cheese on his own

pizza, and only a little on Papa’s and Mama’s pizzas.2

おとなしく髪の毛を切らせてくれました。少しは成長したようです。Noah stood and watched very patiently.

パパお手製のゲームで遊ぶ穏歩。サイコロを転がして同じ色の駒を取ったり、絵カードを並べて、読み上げた動物の絵を指差したり、お絵描きを楽しんだりしています。

Noah’s first guitar, his custom-built CARS racing game (he rolls the dice and moves the car of the color), handfuls of AFFEN BANDE monkeys, he not only touches called animals but can also call “Touch ... !” and water color fun.

観覧車はママが１週間かけて作ったペーパークラフトとパパが作ったレゴの家で遊ぶ穏歩。

A paper-craft ferris wheel from Mama (he loves to carry it around the house) and a Castle Lego fortress from Papa.

お気に入りのボードゲーム。サイコロを転がして、中央のからすのパズルが完成する前に果物を収穫するゲーム。Proud of his win in “Orchard” - die rolls = fruit color or crow; a finished crow puzzle = Game Over.

お気に入りの「はらぺこあおむし」の絵本。１人で読めた最初の本です。一時は本を抱えて寝て、朝起きたら自分で声を出して本を読んでました。右はママ制作の合成写真です。 (Yuka’s photoshops on the right.)

近所の川で水遊び。かに（モズクガ二）がいました！近くで蛇イチゴを見つけ、ぱくり。味はないけれど穏歩は「おいしーい。」と言ってました。Playing with water is a great way to beat the summer heat here.

友達の湊大くんと一緒にかやっこに参加。大きなカタツムリやカエルの卵、赤とんぼ（ショウジョウトンボ）を触ったり、見たりしました。

We participated in a nature program with a friend and saw a red dragonfly, frog eggs and a big snail.

パパが始めた自家菜園。家の中で、レタス、トマト、ズッキーニ、なす、ラディッシュを育てています。「大きく大きく大きくナーレ。」

We started growing vegetables in the house (eggplant, zucchini radish, carrots, lettuce, tomato). Noah greets them each morning with (in Japanese) “get bigger! get bigger!”). He also planted his own pot of salad leaves.
