• The Dominican Republic is the second largest Caribbean island, Its territory is 48 442 square kilometers and an estimated total population of 10.28 million inhabitants Dominican Republic is the first European settlement.

• It is known for producing cocoa brown sugar, and tourist attraction. • It is a beautiful country

surrounded by beautiful beaches and rivers.

•Our signature dish is white rice, beans and chicken. This dish is known as the Dominican flag. Mofongo, groceries stew, fried plantains are also very common in my country.

•The merengue is our typical music known as PERICO RIPIAO

•Predominates in the country the Catholic Christian religion.

• Baseball is the national sport. • Golf is very typical for tourists • Every year many tourists visit us.

•The Dominican flag contains three colors: blue and white red and a shield in the middle •Our official language is Spanish

•Many people immigrate to the United States to work.• I believe that my country is very nice with very friendly people. But should continue its economic development.
