යම් කාලයේදීම harlo shapley විසින් ක්ෂිරඳතයේ ඇති අඳට නිරීක්ෂණෙ කල හැකි යගෝලීෙ තරු යඳොකුරු යෙොදායගන විශ්වෙ පිළිබද සිතිෙමක් සකස් කරන ලදී. අන් විදොඥයනෙන් ද්විමාණ තලෙක විශ්වෙ සිතිෙම් ගත කරද්දී ඔු තිමාණ සිතිෙමක් සකස් කයළේෙ. යමහි ප්‍රථිපඳලෙක් වශයෙන් යමම යගෝලීෙ තරු යඳොකුරු Sagittarius තාරකා රාශිෙ ඳසුබිම් කර ගත් එක්තරා ලක්ෂෙක් වටා යගෝලාකාරව( අරෙ 100kPc) විසිරි ඳවතින බව යසොො ගන්නා ලදී. ඒ අනුව අනිකුත් තාරකා යඳර ආකෘතියේ ඳරිදි තැටිෙක ආකාරයෙක් විසිරි ඳවතින බවත් විශ්ව යක්න්ද්‍රෙ වටා යගෝලාකාරව තරු යඳොකුරු විසිරි ඳවතින බවත් shapley ඔු යේ ආකෘතියෙන් ප්‍රකාශ කරන ලදී.
