Dear parishioners and friends: November: The Month of All Saints and All Souls
It is hard to believe we are in the month
of November. It is getting dark earlier each day and it is colder as the heaters begin to crank in our homes. To the surprise of many, November is my favorite month of the year. I love the feel of November. The air is clean and crisp and although it is chilly it is not too cold for a good walk or even a round of golf. I love the way November begins and ends. The month began last week with the feasts of All Saints and All Souls, and the month ends with the celebration of Thanksgiving. On All Saints Day we honor the many unnamed saints who have touched our lives. My thoughts go directly to my parents. I think of their love for each other and for our family and of their great faith and love of the Church. On All Souls Day we remember our loved ones who have entered eternal life. Our faith teaches us that through prayer we assist those who have died so they may be purified and prepared to meet the Lord. Prayer keeps us connected with our loved ones who we will be reunited with when God calls us home. The month of November ends with the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thanksgiving is a truly family holiday where we take time to give thanks to God for the many blessings we have in our lives. As we begin the month of November take time to reflect on the saints who have touched your life, pray for the souls of your deceased loved ones, and give thanks to God for the many blessings received this year. Happy November! God Bless you and your family, Father Vince
Mis pensamientos van directamente a mis padres. ¡Feliz noviembre!
Dios te bendiga a ti y a tu familia,
Padre Vicente

Steward Humility
“Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” - Matthew 23:12
Jesus gave His life to serve, not to be served. Putting other’s needs before our own needs is a sign of becoming a Christian Steward, of following Jesus’ example. Humility is really a sign of a strength. By putting other’s needs first we declare to the world that we are putting our complete trust in God.
When we align our thoughts and actions with God’s plan for us, the result is Joy and Peace.
Diaper Drive - - Ends this weekend…!
The parish Respect Life ministry and the Nativity Council of the Knights of Columbus are still collecting diapers (Luvs -
larger sizes preferred) and diaper wipes! Please bring your donations to the baskets at the church entrances.
