一、 课程说明

1 、课程性质

《商务英语基础》( 1 )是专科开放英语专业学生的第四学期选修课之一。总学时 72 ,周学时4 ,学分 4 。

2 、教学目的

通过本课程的学习,培养学习者商务英语交际能力并能进行涉及日常商务活动,处理现实中的各种问题。扩大商务方向的专业术语,为学习商务系列的专业课程奠定基础。

3 、教学目标 1 .能听懂一般商务活动中的自我介绍、电话、确定约会时间、接待来访者、介绍公司产品、安排旅行等,能掌握常见句型及用法,能用基本正确的英语进行一般商务活动。2 .能为读懂主要英语报刊、杂志有关商务活动的一般性报道和评论文章打好基础。3 .能翻译一般性商务活动的主要内容。

4 、教学进度及时间安排 A, 理论上的进度:一学期学习 18周 , 每周课内 3学时,课外 3学时,课内外教学时数的比例为 1: 1。 课内 3学时学习课文中的 1—11单元,每次学 1-2个单元;课外 3学时可阅读 1篇商务方向的补充读物,进行听说练习和网上学习。

B, 实际上的教学进度: 教学内容:开篇导学及第 1 单元;第 2-3 单元 ;第 4-5 单元 ;第 6 单元及复习 1-6 单元 第 7-8 单 ;第 9-10 单元 ;第 11 单元,复习 1-11 单元;总复习,模拟练习,答疑。

C, 若学习者完全自学

每周需 4-6 学时,具体学习进度可自行安排。注意多媒体的使用以及网上学习等形式。

5 、媒体介绍

A. 文字教材:《步入商界 -- 商务英语初级》,由 Johnson, C 等人编写,中央广播电视大学外语教学与研究出版社联合引进改编,外语教学与研究出版社出版《步入商界 -- 商务英语初级》由 20 个单元组成。后附参考答案、词汇索引表、听力和录象脚本。本期学前 11 个单元,下期学后 9 个单元。

6 ,教学中应注意的问题 1 .应注意充分发挥多种媒体的优势,通过形象化的

方式,为学生获得一般商务英语基础活动的感性认识。 2 .应充分利用教材中实用的商务材料和案例,并结合

所学商务交际技能,反复进行多种形式的操练。 3 .应注重提高学生的听、说、读、写、译的语言综合

运用能力。 4 .要求学生认真学习文字教材,并收听收看音像视听

材料;认真完成课程中规定的各项练习;并鼓励学生学会借助工具书独立解决学习中所遇到的各种问题。

5 .根据学习需要和具体情况安排面授辅导课。在辅导课上,教师应该结合教材和学生写作练习进行重点讲评,开展口语活动。

7 、考核和作业 考核: 1 、形成性考核总成绩 = 学习计划成

绩 × ( 5 ) % + 阶段性学习总结成绩 × (5 )% + 阶段性作业成绩 × (70 ) % + 网上学习成绩 × (10) % + 小组学习活动成绩 × (10 ) %

2、网上学习应不少于 3次,小组学习活动不少于 2次。

8, 考核 课程终结性考试,即期末考试,占课程总成绩的 70% (卷面为100 分),闭卷,笔试。期末考试由成都电大负责考试命题工作,包括编制考试说明、命题、制定评分标准和制卷等。

9 、作业及完成时间

4月 20 日交第一次作业; 5月 20 日交第二次作业; 6月 1 日交第三次作业; 6月 15 日交第四次作业。
