Kosumphi Forest or Monkey Park is in Kosumphisai District.

It is far from the city about 18 kilometers. You can go there by car,

van or bus. 3

This is Kosumphi Forest. It is a monkey park in Hua Khwang Sub

District, along the Chi River, Kusumphisai District. It is a 125-rai-

forest park. The park was named officially on October 1, 1976. It is

28 kilometers away from MahaSarakham.

There are many monkeys there. The monkeys are friendly.

You can feed and stand close to them. Kathey’s family went there in

Chaiwonjan’s car. 5

There are many trees and monkeys in Kosumpi Monkey Park,

Kosumphisai District. Some monkeys are swimming in the river and

some of them are playing on the river side.

There is a big meal ceremony for monkeys once a year.

It is called “Pa khao ling”

The monkeys are eating fruits.
