SOLUTION 1Solution: A= π · r² · a = 3,1416 · 30² · 160 = 360 360 1,256.64 cm² A= π · r² · a = 3,1416 · 17² · 160 = 360 360 403.52 cm² 1,256.64 – 403.52 = 853.12 cm²

A thousand balloons fall down of the ceiling and each one spends five seconds to reach the floor. How much will the balloons spend? (They are all thrown at the same time)

A man is descended in a cage into the magma. The counterweight weights ¼ more than the man. If it weights 112,5 kg, How much does the man weight?

SOLUTION 3Solution: ¼ x + x = 112,5 0,25x + x = 112,5 x = 112,5 : 1,25 x = 90

One of the most famous scenes of the film is the dinner. Find out how many plates of Eyeball Soup (x) and Chilled Monkey Brains (y) are served. To do this you have to solve this system of equations:

x – 4 = -1 4x – 3y = 8
