Click “Next >”in the ArcGIS 10.1 for Desktop Setup window.

Accept the license agreement and click “Next >”

Click “Next >” to select a Complete install

Click “Next >” to accept the default installation location

Click “Next >” to accept the default Python installation location.

Check “Click here to participate in the Esri User Experience Improvement program. (Recommended)” Click “Next >” to continue

The software will continue installing.

Installation completion times are typically incorrect. Expect installation to take 20 minutes.

Click “Finish”

Select “Advanced (ArcInfo) Concurrent Use” under “Select a product” Select “Define a License Manager later:” from “Define a License Manager for

Concurrent Use products” & Click “OK”

Click “Cancel”

1- Open (KeyGen.exe) and write (10.1) in Version Area. 2- Click “All”

Copy generated text by the Keygen

insert the text inside the file with that generated text by the Keygen File

Go to this path ... C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\License10.1\bin and replace (service.txt) file

In same path Open LSAdmin, go to "Start/Stop License Service" Folder and click "Re-read Licenses".

Check the license in Diagnostic, it must say RUNNING and click "Ok".

Open Start Menu>Programs>ArcGIS>ArcGIS Administrator.

Inside the "Desktop" folder, select "Advanced (ArcInfo) Concurrent Use". Click "Change" under the "License Manager" and type in (localhost) and click

"Ok ".
