Getting on the front foot • Purpose
– Support decision-making in regards to how projects will be supported and cultured by CREST.BD in terms of both KE and research support/involvement.
• Provide recommendations regarding:– How we define a CREST.BD research project– How we foster collaboration– How we address and act on new ideas for research projects– How do we track and monitor the milestones/status of research
projects from the idea stage to project initiation• To identify working groups for all identified research initiatives.
– Preparatory investigation on issues related to international data collection, ethics
– BD survey– Attention to prevention and early intervention with a focus on genetic
psychiatric counselling– New ideas to be tabled

• Annual workplan grows out of 2014-2019 strategic plan– 5 strategic priorities, 12 goals, 26 broad actions
– Populate specific actions (add, remove, weight), timelines, inputs/responsibilities, indicators
• Workplan plan– Submit workplan in 4 weeks
– Populating throughout meeting
– Draft in your pack, flipcharts
