Chat and Skype Reference

The Ball State University Libraries offer research assistance to Distance Education students via chat and Skype. Students can set up an appointment for Skype research assistance by contacting one of the Information Services Librarian. Students can also use chat reference to get research assistance. Students chat with a librarian using AOL Instant Messenger, MSN, or Yahoo! There are also chat widgets installed on the Ask a Librarian page, Articles and Databases page, and in many LibGuides.
