2. My Business
- Shanes Taco and Pudding Emporium. It would be the only place
that sells both at the same time, which is pretty sweet. I do not
really have any competition since it is the only one of its
kind.
3. Goals
- Short Term Goals- Get an A on English Test. Get a good
job.
- Intermediate Goals- Get all As on my report card. Get my
drivers license.
- Long Term Goals- Get into the college I want. Doing what I
enjoy for a living.
4. Better Business Bureau
- The Better Business Bureau regulates business practice with
consumers and also deals with complaints against companies from
consumers.
5. Subway
- Subway started in 1965 when Fred De Luca borrowed $1,000 from
Peter Buck and started his own sandwich shop. There are 30,643
Subway locations in the world. The franchising fee for Subway is
$10,000 to $20,000.
6. Microsoft
- Microsoft is a software company started in 1975 by a group of
people led by Bill Gates(after he had dropped out of Harvard).
Gates moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and set up the company that
would eventually become one of the largest companies in the
world.
7. Google
- Google was started in January 1996 by Sergey Brin and Larry
Page, both students at Stanford University. They wanted to create a
search engine that would analyze the relationship between websites
unlike the other search engine.
8. Dunkin Donuts
- Dunkin Donuts was started in 1950 by William Rosenburg in
Quincy, Massachusetts. There are currently 5,863 Dunkin Donuts in
the world.
