Hundreds of people gathered for the festival’s last day. Families, kids, teens, and adults walked through the streets to observe the local artists’ work. The work is all for sale and is

handmade or designed by the artists, who are sorted into categories for the festival. Some of these categories are Craft, Design, Fine Art, Furniture, and Clothing. However there are 16

categories. This year’s festival had 160 vendors!

These aprons were so beautiful, and were reversible as well. They are made by Two Stitches, who specialize in aprons, pillows, and blankets! I had my eye on an apron with a fox

pattern, but this one featured on the mannequin is perfect for the upcoming fall/Halloween season.

This is the tent for Oh Hello Deer, the business I work for. You can see one of my bosses and co-owner Meghan standing in the back. They hand make everything and use recycled wood for their products. Their wares are affordable and cute for the home, especially for families and children. They are always

churning out new things and go to festivals like this when they can.

Some of the artwork in Oh Hello Deer’s tent, I help tag these for the show! The elephant fronts and butts are very popular,

as are the quote boards. Renee and Meghan are both mothers, and their work shows that. These quotes were designed by

Renee. Their clothing is hand designed and screened as well!

The bike race was also happening during the festival. Caution tape was spread from telephone pole to light post to telephone

pole, blocking people from entering the street during racing time. I managed to catch a cyclist still riding around town.

We left the festival shortly after making our purchases of the day. We each bought one of these leather necklaces from Susan Forker of JoeyFiveCents. Each piece of jewelry has

something vintage about it, as they use vintage imagery in their pendants and buttons. The necklaces we picked out all

featured images of birds. This necklace can be worn as a bracelet too.

My final two purchases were these stones from Gina Streubel, her company is called GS Designs. I love seeing artists work with stones like this. It’s something I wouldn’t mind learning how to do. I picked out a Smoky Quartz and Serpentine, each

being very affordable amongst the other jewelry makers there. It was a great festival, and I can’t wait till next year!
