Type of Alerts

• An alert can be in terms of SMS or E mail.

• These alert can be either Event based or Schedule based

• Event based alerts:

These alerts are basically used for monitoring business

activity . Example :Shipment Booking, Customer billing, Account

receivable, Cash management etc.

• Schedule Based alerts:

These alerts are basically used to mail the reports at

the scheduled time. Example: Daily sales, Daily Collection, Daily

Stock etc.
