The Sun is a typical star of Galaxy. It is a revolving ball of burning hot gas. Its surface seethes like water in a boiling kettle. Its diameter is 1 391 980 km. The time of revolving on equator is 27 days. The surface temperature is 6000 С.

Mercury is the nearest planet to the Sun. It seems to be the hottest planet, but its side being to the Sun has the temperature till 430 С. Аt night it falls till -70 С. Diameter is 4878 km.
