1 香港青少年領袖發展協會 機構簡介 成立背景: 香港青少年領袖發展協會成立於 2007 年,數名創會成員皆活躍於中學、大專學界及青年社會服 務群組,有廣泛青年團體及社區服務機構網絡支援,亦有著手籌辦過不少大型青少年活動。眼 見不少充滿熱誠參與社會、服務社會的青少年,因未獲得適合的參與渠道而放棄參與社會事務, 我們毅然創立本會,希望提供理性、多元的社會參與機會予所有具潛質的青少年,並以本會作 為平台以凝聚真正的青少年領袖,一起為香港、國家及世界作出貢獻。 香港青少年領袖發展協會格言: Youth to Lead, Devote and Achieve 香港青少年領袖發展協會宗旨: 1. 凝聚及培養在學業成績、社會服務、藝術、體育、領導才能等各方面表現優秀之傑出青少 年領袖。 2. 開放學習及發展機會予所有有熱誠參與社會、服務社會的青少年。透過凝聚傑出青少年, 推動及帶領更多青少年參與社會,讓更多有上進心的青少年有一展所長的機會。 3. 帶領青少年關心香港和祖國發展,放眼世界。 4. 成為青少年發表意見的平台。本會會不斷發展各方面的意見發表途徑,鼓勵青少年以獨立 及批判的角度,參與社會,關心社會事務,就社會時事及社會政策發表意見。 5. 組織青少年參與社會公益事務。 現有會員: 500 多人 (主要為大學生及高中生) 各工作小組的籌委會成員人數合共超過 60 人,均為本會義工。 主要服務對象: 中學生及大學生 整體發展策略: 1. 本會以青少年為核心,培訓未來社會領袖;積極推動青年參與公共政策的討論、參與及倡議。 2. 透過舉辦青少年活動,提供更多機會予所有具熱誠參與社會、服務社會的青少年,培育他們 成為青年領袖。 3. 透過社會服務,讓青年領袖服務社會,照顧社會上的弱小社群。 4. 整理及發展青年機構網絡。成為本港青年機構重要的一員,透過本會與其他青年機構的友好 網絡,不斷尋求合作及互相學習的機會。

    economic, environment and international relationship. 2. To develop sense of global citizenship 3. To raise concerns towards human rights, particularly for children in the developing countries 4. To provide a channel for students to learn about current issues and socialize with others Date:

    S3 S7 Secondary Students Brief description: Global Youth Ministers (GYM) is a newly-launched programme by YLDA which aims at nurturing a group of young elites who have keen interests in global affairs. By giving participants the chance to investigate, negotiate and develop solutions to international issues by representing different countries, GYM aims to raise participants civic awareness, enhance their diplomatic skills and uphold the spirit of promoting world peace through understanding and cooperation among cultures. Apart from attending conference sessions, participants will take part in various types of workshops targeting on different skills, such as proposal writing and presentation skills, which would be particularly fruitful to them. Keynote speakers will be invited to provide participants with opportunity to hear their passion, to be inspired with their individual drive and to be amazed with their stories. There will also be a Cultural Night where the participants could get to know each other better, resulting in a great mix of cultural exchange and fun together.
