The word kindness comes from the Greek word chrestotes (khray-stot-ace), which means usefulness, gentleness, tolerance towards others (opposite to harsh, hard, sharp), mild, pleasant, serviceable, fit for use, compassionate, considerate, sympathetic, gracious in attitude, benevolent.


The word goodness comes from the Greek word Agathosune which means uprightness of heart and life, moral standard of excellence and righteousness, beneficence, distinguished, upright, honorable.


Kindness is about our attitude toward others Goodness is about the things we do for others.
