Module 4 : The student needs to perform the below steps before
proceeding with the steps listed in the Lab.
Steps to be taken before creating a new Analysis from the
SampleApp_Lite.RPD file that has been deployed in the Oracle
Enterprise Manager 11g Fusion Middleware Control .
1. Open the RPD in Oracle BI Administration. 2. In the
connection Pool properties page change the Service name from XE
to
orcl.us.oracle.com. So the Datasource name property should be
(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = localhost)(PORT =
1521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVER=DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME=orcl.us.oracle.com)))
