Success case

• AG mill 38’ x 45’ grinding sulphide ore- Shell completely lined with Skega Poly-Met® Megaliners™ since 2010- FE lined with conventional Skega Poly-Met®, DE lined with metallic grates- Member of the Boliden AB Group, a leading copper and gold producer

Result: 30-40% shorter shell liner change out time with Skega Poly-Met® Megaliners™ compared to conventional liners. Safer replacement since nobody needs to be in the drop-zone of the liners while inserting or removing liner bolts.

• Using this system, the liner handler operator can act aloneto accurately position the liners without guidance from otherworkers

• Nobody other than the liner handler operator needs to be in the mill during liner installation

• Video cameras are magneticallymounted to the outside of the mill

• The cameras capture images through the bolt holes, and transmit those images in real time to a split screen display mounted in front of the liner handler operator

• Software corrects the orientation of the images so that the motions of the liner handler boom agree with whatthe operator views on the display

• Using the bolt holes in the millas targets, the operator simplyaligns the conical guides in the liners with the bolt holes in the mill

• Once the images coincide, the liner is in the correct position Operator screen view
