The strength of Maastricht Region is defi ned by the combination of the innovative economy, its international position, and inspiring living environment. 18 municipalities, 1 economy A region that operates on different scale levels. First and foremost as part of Limburg province. But also on the scale levels of Brainport, the southern provinces, and the Netherlands. On the traditional map of the Netherlands, Maastricht Region is located at the very edge of the country and our foreign neighbours are barely indicated. We have decided to do justice to the strength of Maastricht Region, and we have placed the region on the centre of the map. Right in the middle of Europe. Just imagine living here.
