applying for an annulment and the phone number of the Metropolitan Tribunal.

Holy Communion. Also, a priest can visit, at least periodically, for the Sacrament of the Sick, and for
Confession. Please call the rectory or leave a voicemail.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If a family member is a resident in a local hospital and you would like a parish priest to visit, please
call the rectory. (That being said, in an emergency, all of the local hospitals do have either
a full time priest or chaplain (eg. St. Mary, Holy Redeemer) or local parish coverage (eg. Jefferson
Torresdale or Abington).
Attention Inactive Catholics Those who wish to return to our Catholic faith
A WELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS OF ST. EPHREM PARISH
We are so happy you are here today! Whether this is your first, fiftieth, or five hundredth time at St. Ephrem Church, we welcome you with open arms. We hope you feel at peace here, and that you are able to freely worship God in a warm, loving environment. We
are very proud of our St. Ephrem Parish family, and invite all of you to become part of that family.
If you are new to St. Ephrem, we encourage you to register as a member of our parish. You can do this
by seeing a priest before or after any of the weekend masses, or, if it is more convenient, you can make an
appointment to come to the rectory to register. Officially registering in the parish is great way to meet our priests and experience a more personal connection
to the Church. It is also the only way to receive offering envelopes and other important mailings to keep up to date with parish happenings. Most of all, registering will help you to feel part of our parish community. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to
speak with one of our priests or deacons. God bless you!
This & That (Fr. S. Katziner)
A Healing Prayer to St. Jude Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, I place myself in your care. Pray
for me; help me remember that I am not alone in my struggles. Please join me in
asking God to send me hope in my sorrow, courage in my fear, and healing in the midst of my challenges. Please ask our loving God to fill me with the grace to accept whatever my life holds and to strengthen my faith in
His healing power. Thank you, St. Jude, for the promise of hope you hold to all who believe, and inspire me to give this
gift of hope to others. Amen.
This was a healing prayer card sent to me before my June heart surgery.
