British Council Jsme mezinárodní organizace Spojenéhokrálovství pro kulturní vztahy. Vytváříme příleži-tosti pro lidi ve Spojeném království i ostatníchzemích a snažíme se mezi nimi budovat poutadůvěry. Naše organizace byla založena roku 1934a v současnosti působí ve 110 zemích. V České republice se zaměřujeme především na anglický jazyk a umění. Nabízíme docházkové kurzy angličtiny, vekterých získáte potřebné schopnosti a sebejistotuk dosažení svých cílů. Pořádáme britské zkoušky,které uznávají vlády, univerzity, profesní organi-zace i zaměstnavatelé po celém světě. Naše projekty zaměřené na výuku angličtinypomáhají dětem stát se skutečnými světoobčany a připravují je na život v globální ekonomice.Propojujeme školy z různých zemí pomocísdílených osnov a podporujeme profesní rozvojučitelů i školského managementu. V umění se zaměřujeme na to nejlepší, co brit-ská scéna nabízí. Organizujeme vysoce kvalitníumělecké akce a umožňujeme umělcům, kulturnímpředstavitelům a uměleckým institucím navázathodnotné pracovní vztahy s jejich protějšky ve Spojeném království.

Komu je určen program Addvantage StarterProgram je otevřen všem školám, institucím a firmám, které mají zájem hromadně reg-istrovat své kandidáty na zkoušky organizo-vané British Council. Program je určeninstitucím v prvním roce členství. Podmínkoupro vstup do programu je připsání hromadnéplatby na účet British Council. Čím více kandidátů zaregistrujete, tím zajímavější benefity získáte. Benefity jsou vyhodnocovány 3x ročně – po uzavření vypsaných registračních období (k 31. 12., 31. 3. a 31. 7.).

Who is Addvantage Starter forThe programme is open to all languageschools, institutions and companies that want to register their candidates for exams organized by the British Council.The programme is designed for institutions in the first year of membership. It is necessary to register your candidates in one block and pay one collective payment.The more candidates you register, the more interesting benefits you can obtain.The benefits are cumulative throughout the academic year, with progression to the nextlevel possible after each set registration period (31. 12., 31. 3. and 31. 7.).

After the first year the participants will be offered memberhips in the Addvantage loyalty program in a category based on the number of candidates registered by the institution.

Starting package – after registering 1 − 9 candidates you will be entitled to the following benefits:• a set of preparation and marketing materials for exams• result statistics from the last session of the British Council exams for candidates from all over the Czech Republic• provision of the participating candidates’ results in the last session for each exam• two guaranteed places at seminars for teachers by the British Council • e-Newsletter about British Council exams activities and general events• a desk calendar for 2012 with key administration dates for exams of the British Council

After registering 10 − 49 candi-dates you will be entitled to thefollowing added benefits:• the right to register your candidates for examinations organized by the British Council for a fee reduced by CZK 100 • British Council club card• logo “British Council Partner Institution”• British Council certificate stating that your institution registers candidates for the Cambridge ESOL exams• a book of practice tests for Cambridge ESOL exams• methodology seminar upon request in your region• the Oxford Bookshop discount card for your students
