Itinerary of your cruiseDay 1 - Saturday

BodrumOur course is set for Bodrum: small houses with picture-perfect facades, a medieval castle and calm waters make this a real jewel in the Aegan's crown.Ship docked, no water sports. Boarding and disembarkation port of call.

Day 2 - SundayPatmos

The Monastery of Saint John the Theologian, founded in 1088, is the most famous sight on Patmos. This island paradise also has long sandy beachesand picturesque villages, with houses in the traditional Dodecanese style. Ship at anchor, water sports available.

Ignored by classical circuits, this island abounds in natural attractions and archaeological sites. Its beaches with crystal clear waters are the mosttempting of the northeastern Aegean. Ship at anchor Water sports. No beach.

Day 8 - SaturdayAthens

The Greek capital opens the pages of its age-old history. In the heart of modernity, the Acropolis and the narrow streets of the Plaka district reveal theirsplendour and charm. Ship docked.

Excursions of your cruise

Day 2 - Sunday Patmos (1/2 day, morning)

*

The Jerusalem of the Aegean! Between Skala and Chora, see the sacred cave where St John is thought to have described his vision of the apocalypse.Then visit the St John monastery and museum in Chora. Founded in 1088, the monastery was a real Medieval fortress, and the museum contains afragment of St Mark's gospel.

Day 3 - Monday Kusadasi / Ephesus (half

day)

Until the port silted up, forever separating the city from the sea, Ephesus was the most important trading centre in the ancient world. Amongst its treasureswas the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the world. It reached its height during the Roman period, and erected many monuments befittingits importance. But Ephesus has not lain in obscurity since antiquity. Christians went on to build one of their most beautiful basilicas there, and Muslimsbuilt a grand mosque. The remains of this illustrious and exceptionally well-preserved city are so lifelike that it takes little imagination to see what dailyexistence was like.

Day 4 - Tuesday Chios / Authentic Chios

(1/2 day) *

To the South, you can see the mastic forests that made the island's fortune. Visit the village of Pyrgi, with its geometric xysta decorations, and its centraltower that once served as a refuge from attackers. Then see the village of Mesta, one of the best preserved fortified medieval villages on the island.Thehouses are built right up against one another, forming a veritable fortress. This striking architecture has achieved heritage status. The picturesquealleyways form a maze where all roads lead to the main square.

Day 4 - Tuesday Chios / Chios out of time

(1/2 day - morning) *

You will head off to the north towards the abandoned fortified hilltop village of Anavatos. This is the place where a tragedy occurred in 1822.In order toavoid the massacre threatened by the Turks, the women and children threw themselves to their deaths from the top of the village. You will then visit themonastery of Nea Moni built in the middle of the 11th century. The church houses beautiful mosaics with gold backgrounds and the catholicon isoctagonal and richly decorated. The monastery of Nea Moni is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Day 5 and 6 - Wednesdayand Thursday

Istanbul / Istanbulbosphorus (2 hours) *

It wouldn't be a trip to Istanbul without a cruise on the Bosphorus. Where the Sea of Marmara meets the Black Sea, soak in the city's beauty as youadmire the rich and varied architecture of the residences and mosques that line the banks. To see more of Istanbul, add the Hagia Sophia Exclusiveexcursion.

Day 5 - Wednesday Istanbul / Istanbul

byzantine ( 1/2 day,afternoon) *

Come and see some of the rarest and most beautiful mosaics on golden backgrounds and frescoes from the Byzantine period in the Church of the HolySaviour in Chora You will then tour one of Istanbul's curiosities, the Basilica Cistern, before heading off on your own to explore the labyrinthine alleywaysof the Spice Market with its highly colourful atmosphere. Option to extend your exploration of Istanbul with the Hagia Sophia Exclusive excursion.

Day 5 - Wednesday Istanbul / Hagia Sophia

Exclusive (2 hours) *

The most iconic of Istanbul's monuments opens its doors exclusively for Club Med 2 passengers. Visit the immense structure, once the Sancta Sophiabasilica, now the Hagia Sophia, after the doors have been closed to normal visitors. Experience the unique atmosphere that unfurls once the crowds havedeparted and calm is restored. Appreciate the sheer size of this monument, and its history as part of Byzantium, then Constantinople, and now Istanbul.Enjoy this exceptional and unmissable experience as the sun goes down.

Day 5 and 6 - Wednesdayand Thursday

Istanbul / Topkapi ( 1/2day, morning) *

Lose yourself in the 700,000m² of Topkapi Palace, the biggest palace in the world. Discover the many facets of this former official residence of thesultans, which served as the seat of government and the ministerial council, the treasury, mint and state university. Finish your visit in the harem, withinthe Sultan's private apartments. Due to restoration works, some rooms may be closed to visitors.

HEALTH FORMALITIESRecommended vaccinations: diphtheria, polio, tetanus, hepatitis A and B and typhoid. Pregnant women who do not need constant medical supervision may come aboard,upon presentation of a medical certificate showing their due date and certifying that their pregnancy is compatible with the cruise. The final day of the cruise must be beforethe end of the 26th week of pregnancy.
