Signs and Symbols

In Japan there are houses that do not have house numbers or that are located in streets without name. There you are reliant on explanations and drawings describing the way to these houses. In Japanese culture signs and symbols are of great importance. It is an honour and recognition, if somebody gives you a symbol as a gift.

In this case it is not the voice that communicates, no, the whole mind, the whole body (the eyes, the smile, the hair, the gesture, the clothing) chats with you in a childlike manner. It would have been a matter of an instant if description and finding the way was the subject. That way it is realizing the body and part of the mind of the other one.11

Japan-ness inside of me is a way of language and expression.

A scene of places without name, that are no longer foreign places.

An intimate view.

An idea of people living together.
