Bachpan Bachao Andolan(English: Save Childhood Movement) is an India-based movementcampaigning for the rights of children. It as started in !"#$ by %obel &a'reateailash atyarthi.Its foc's has centred on ending bonded labo'r, child labo'rand h'man trafficking, as ell asdemanding the right to ed'cation for all children. 7he stated vision of 8achpan 8achao 9ndolan (889) is to create a child friendly society, hereall children are free from e6ploitation and receive free and ;'ality ed'cation. It aims to identify,liberate, rehabilitate and ed'cate children in servit'de thro'gh direct intervention, child andcomm'nity participation, coalition b'ilding, cons'mer action, promoting ethical trade practicesand mass gaming.*+

residential care, the resc'ed children find their ne life at 889=s transit rehabilitation centres -?'kti 9shram, sit'ated at the o'tskirts of Aelhi and 8al 9shram, sit'ated in >irat %agar,4aBasthan. ?'kti 9shram is an immediate shelter for the children ho are resc'ed from Aelhiand its s'rro'ndings. 7hey are immediately provided ith medical help, food, clothing,recreational facilities, sports, theater and co'nseling d'ring their stay 'ntil the legal formalitiesare completed and they are repatriated and re'nited ith their families. Cn the other hand,children ho do not have families to fall back 'pon find a ne home at 8al 9shram. ere,1hildren stay for a longer d'ration, receive basic as ell as formal ed'cation as ell asvocational training hich may help them earn their living hen they gro 'p.
