BSA Summer camp where your children can learn, have fun and develop confidence to last a lifetime! Bright

Seeds Academy has summer camp annually for kids in ages ranging from 3 to 7 years old. We provide

opportunities for children to learn Chinese language, experience the combination of Chinese traditional culture

and modern culture. Meanwhile, we help children to get academic focus, to be confident and eligible to move

up a level in fall. We believe that children will gain a valuable and memorable experience in BSA summer

camp.

This is the 10th year Bright Seeds Academy has used creative curriculum for summer camp. In the past five

years all the children like summer camp very much!! We proudly announce to all of you that the summer

This week, the children will have a professional art class every day (please see the curriculum on the right column). Every day, the teacher will introduce a form of art. The children use different art tools and materials to complete the work and take it home, including watercolor gouache. , clay sculpture, canvas painting, appreciation of Monet's masterpieces - imitating his famous "Water Lily" painting, and the combination of origami and oil pastels. The teachers will introduce famous artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, Georgia and Frida Caro. We will explore different art media.

This is a newly developed theme base on children’s age learning characteristics and hobbies. In order to let children play thoroughly on this topic, this theme is open for two consecutive weeks. The first week is based on purchasing, product recognition and classification. Teachers will take the children to local supermarkets for “field visits” after group discussing. Children will take responsibility of planning, calculating, and shopping.

In the second week of the supermarket, children will simulate their own supermarket! Classrooms will be used as different departments of the supermarket. Students will hold their booth for goods selling. They will also be transferred to various departments to collect/purchase the products they want. The production of charts, simple price calculations and distribution. Through the ‘business’, children practiced their social skills, start to reach out financial questions and more importantly, the children’s independent consciousness is cultivated and happy.

By playing together, singing, dancing, and stage performances, children will be introduced individual and group collaboration games that allow children to find confidence in their play. Children will be exposed to how to sort out the classification, color combination, jewelry matching and so on. new school year and sign up summer camp after March 28th

❖ Registration fee will be waived for parent whose child enrolled BSA 2019-2020 daily program

❖ BSA requires parent pay full summer camp tuition upon registration without deposit.

❖ Security Deposit (the summer camp deposit is different from the deposit for the new school year) for parents who don’t pay full tuition, the $300 summer camp security deposit will be charged upon registration. And payment is made no later than camp start.

Please note: each payment should be made for at least 4 weeks.

❖ If request withdraw, a $35 weekly administration fee will be applied. For families who don’t pay full tuition at one time, besides $300 deposit is not refundable. A $35 weekly administration fee also will be charged for withdrawing.
