MAGICIAN’S PROFILE (PREMIER LEVEL)

Adeline has been performing magic professionally for ten years
with local and international experience in live shows and
television.
For the past 10 years, Adeline has been honing and practising
her craft under and alongside with her mentors, top illusionists in
Asia –
J C Sum and Ning Cai (formerly known as ‘Magic Babe’ Ning),
before starting her own company, Artful Deceptions, in 2016.
Adeline has been featured in the local and international media
several times and was a featured magician in both seasons of "M
for
Magic", an online television series. Most recently, Adeline was
featured in international radio broadcast, BBC Radio Station.
Compared to peers of the same age, Adeline has had extraordinary
amount of experience with international shows. She has
travelled
across the world for shows, from Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, and
Melbourne to more exotic countries like Oman, Kuwait, Italy and
France,
giving her an extremely unique international perspective on
shows.
Adeline's expertise includes stage and close-up magic
performances for family and corporate events.

Adeline was a featured regular close-up magician at Bar 84, the
only magic bar in Singapore from 2011-2013
before the bar relocated to Fukuoka. She was also the resident
magician for Tony Roma’s (Singapore, Suntec
City) in 2011. Adeline has performed close-up magic for a wide
multitude of events, including trade shows,
corporate events, networking events, launches and private
events.
She believes that magic is a beautiful intellectual artform that
should be shared with the world. One magic
performance at a time, she is determined to bring the world of
unlimited possibilities to her audiences.

Adeline is also adept at performing customized close-up magic
for trade-shows.
She has performed customized magic to demonstrate the
capabilities of the LDX XtremeSpeed 6X Ultra
Slow-Motion Camera for Grass Valley Singapore during Broadcast
Asia. Adeline has also customized magic
for WDA Fair to bring across messages of retraining and
relearning for attendees in a magical and
entertaining fashion. Her magic drew crowds and entertain the
attendees.

ShowClose-up Illusions currently in Adeline’s Close-up Magic
repertoire include:
The Impossible EscapeThe guests has all the fun in this piece of
magic! A volunteer will be called on to lock Adeline up in a pair
of mean
thumb cuffs and challenged to escape within 30secs. She does so
with a whole lot of hilarity and fun!
An audience favourite!
The Stolen CardA guest is invited to choose a card of his/her
own free will. The card appears in unexplainable places each
time!
Finally the guest is told to shuffle the deck and keep his/her
card safe.
Incredibly, Adeline manages to steal the card and have it
reappear in the most impossible location!

ShowThe Linking Bands
Adeline proceeds to show how magic can be everywhere in everyday
objects! Rubber bands link and unlink, right
before the guest’s eyes and in their hands. As a finale, Adeline
causes two rubber bands to link up permanently in
the audience’s hands! The rubber bands are then given out as
souvenirs.
Tick-tockA unique act from her Japanese Bar magic days… In a
cheeky exchange, Adeline borrows a watch from the guests.
She proceeds to bind her thumb and finger tight together with
electric tape.
Stunning magic happens when the watch penetrates right through
her fingers! Impossible to believe, until you see it
with your own eyes.
