Grace is when God gives us what we don’t deserve.

Spring Fever: Four high school boys afflicted with spring fever skipped
morning classes. After lunch they reported to the teacher that they had a flat
tire. Much to their relief she smiled and said, “Well, you missed a test today
so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper.” Still
smiling, she waited for them to sit down. Then she said: “First Question:
Which tire was flat?”
Friday morning and our final
small group time. Learning
how to find specific scriptures
in the bible and then reading
some verses and asking them-
selves if God has a message
for them personally. #Grateful.

I also have a Saturday Group again. Pray for these families as we do life together. One person is coming home from rehab this week. Pray for that family and that the recovery will be permanent and that everyone’s trust in Jesus grows. Moniek Los has been doing her Field Ed placement with me and she has been helping with this program in the area of children’s ministry. Not an easy task. Moniek has been interviewing Service Providers in Listowel with me, going to meetings about the local issue of poverty, attended drop-in and met with several people I meet with/mentor. Oh and of course her fresh perspective and her gifting has taught me lots again too.

I have survived Southbound 2019 and am here to tell you about our amazing March Break trip. I had prayed for 30 degree, sunny weather and that’s basically what God gave us. From North Perth, Ainsley Stanley and I brought 8 youths to Florida, joining a total of about 60 people. In total we spent over 50 hours of our time on the bus to and from Florida. That travel time is a great time of ministry with the youth (aka a captive audience).
