The Outside Track’s marriage of Celtic music, song and dance has been rapturously received around the world. Hailing from Scotland, Ireland, and Cape Breton, its five members are united by a love of traditional music and a commitment to creating new music on this as a foundation. They blend fiddle, accordion, harp, guitar, flute, whistle, step-dance and vocals with breathtaking vitality.
BURNS SING-ALONGCome along and sing songs penned by our national bard, Robert Burns, led by local musician and singer-songwriter, Donald Livingstone. All welcome. Booking is recommended. The Queen of Spades is based on a short story by Pushkin, and comes to the Royal Opera House in a new production that has already garnered five-star reviews. The production is set in 1890, the year of the opera’s premiere.
