prINCIplED LEADERSHIP
–At tHE HEARt Of tHE CURRICULUM
EDHEC Global MBA gives you the opportunity to reflect on and extend your leadership practice through both theory and action learning opportunities.
fUNDAMENtALS Of LEADERSHIP The programme starts with a two-day excursion to the mountains in the Mercantour Park that is a very first opportunity to reflect on leadership.
Then, through “Leading in the Real World”, “Leading People and Organisations” and “building High Performance Teams” courses, MbA participants discover how leadership engages people towards shared goals.
HUMANItIES Global leaders will increasingly have to deal with the human side of business. Finally, courses such as “Philosophy”, “International business Law”,
“Criminal Risks Management” and “Leadership as Sensemaking” allow participants to question the set of values that guide their decisions and actions. Global business trips also provide you with opportunities to explore new mindsets and new rationales.
IMPROVING LEADERSHIP tHROUGH ACtION Leadership is developed through practice and experimentation. Teamwork therefore lies at the core of the pedagogical philosophy of the programme. Collective assignments (from case studies to consulting and entrepreneurship projects) thus invite you to put your leadership
skills to test. Furthermore, you are assessed on your teamwork abilities, so as to receive fruitful and constructive feedback.
COACHING AND SELf REfLECtIONVarious tests (e.g. MbTI, belbin) as well as the CareerSMART process help participants to identify their leadership profile and their areas for improvement.
In line with the programme’s focus on personal development, you will be offered guidance throughout the programme with: • Career Coaching:
you are guided individually by a coach on the choices for your future career.• Team Coaching:
Throughout the programme, Peer and Self Evaluations (PSE) provide participants with formal 360° feedback. based on PSE outcomes, Team Work Reviews (TWR) consist of collective coaching involving facilitated group sessions. PSE and TWR aim at increasing awareness
of how best to perform in a team, whether as a leader or as a member and provide valuable insights as to how participants are perceived by other.
I am happy that this Global MBA programme is also helping me question, understand and develop my character. Unlike most MBA programmes where the emphasis is purely on academics, the CareerSMART workshops are proof that the EDHEC MBA helps me achieve holistic growth.

to add to the students’ hub.
fRENCH LANGUAGE COURSESTo facilitate international participants’ integration
in France, EDHEC provides free French language courses for international MbA participants and their partners.
Naturally, the groups are formed according to level.

• Organisation of bringing your family
• Accommodation: reserving appropriate accommodation
• Pick-up service from the airport to your accommodation
Our admissions team will assist you throughout your application procedure and provide you with a Welcome
Guide to guarantee an easy start to your life in France.
Compared to a few of the other MBA programmes I was considering, EDHEC’s location in Nice swayed my decision. This was largely due to the variety of activities for my family while I am in class: going to the beach, playing along the Promenade du Paillion, walking the Promenade des Anglais, or the host of other playgrounds and parks in the area.
