The Naonal Cybersecurity Center (CNCS), as an enty with a central rolein promong a naonal cybersecurity culture, believes that enhancing everyone’s acve parcipaon and open discussion around these themesis of the upmost importance.

EmbEmbracing the will for such parcipaon and acve discussion, the CNCS has been parcipang in various forums and promong several open events, addressed transversely to all civil society and to specific groups with special interests in cybersecurity topics.

The C-Days 2015 event, that the CNCS seeks to boost in October 2015, aimstto launch an annual and naonal cybersecurity event to consolidate cooperaon bonds and instuonal and business relaonships, which are essenal for the implementaon of the Naonal Strategy for Security in Cyberspace, recently approved.

This document describes the C-Days event for the year 2015, highlighngits scope and objecves, the dra for the event’s program and the terms for sponsorship, partnership and support.

C-Days 2015 aims to be an event with strong naonal and internaonal impact and is a result of the Naonal Cybersecurity Centre’s aribuons, in parcular the one’s regarding to awareness-raising, prevenon and training towards a naonal cybersecurity culture.

Focused on naonal cybersecurity’s objecves (where CNCS plays an acve and proacve role), this event should be assumed as a major space for discussion of all issues related to cybersecurity (Strategic, Operaonal and Taccal/Technical).

It is necessaIt is necessary, for this purpose, a strong commitment from both naonal and internaonal partners from industry, academia and State. These partnerships are important to enrich the contents of the themes presented and the discussions at the event, but also to find sponsorship and appappropriate financial support for the event.

The event shall be promoted through Naonal Cybersecurity Center’s website, as in the websites of the event’s partners and sponsors. Publicity through specialized media is also a possibility.

IInvitaons will be addressed to en es or communies with special interests in cybersecurity, in a predefined format and according to protocol rules in place.

By the Naonal Cybersecurity Center in partnership with ISCTE-Lisbon University Instute (ISCTE-IUL), partners and sponsors represented at the event.

The event is expected to have an overall duraon of two working days. For the year 2015 it will take place in 07 and 08 of October, dates that are coincident with the Naonal Cybersecurity Center’s first anniversary.

Given the desired dimension and parcipaon expected for the event, as well as the expected presence of private sector partners and the industry in areas related to ICT in general and cybersecurity in parcular, the ISCTE-Lisbon University Instute (ISCTE-IUL) made available its main audiauditorium with capacity for 498 seats, 3 meeng rooms with capacity for 20 people and 2 adjoining areas for partners showrooms and meals, which are to occurin parallel with the main sessions.

The event is directed to the whole cybersecurity community, with parcular focus on managers, Chief Informaon Officers (CIO), Chief Informaon Security Officers (CISO), other ICT directors and managers, employees of incident response teams and other ICT security professionals, teacheteachers and students of Universies and technological educaon instuons, and other researchers with an interest in the themes of ICT security and cybersecurity.

There are several opons for sponsorship, partnership or support, vital for the success of the C-Days 2015 event, and each diferent opon has a different and correspondent aspect of visibility and parcipaon in the event.

During the event, every current awareness and State of the art development in terms of cybersecurity is to be addressed.

Considering the diversity of parcipants and also aiming to respect different interests and professional areas, this event will allow a similar mulplicity in terms of acvies.

Combining different aspects and approaches (as are discussions over strategic or technical issues), parallel sessions will be combined with disnct formats, objecves and themacs. This session’s format pretends to enable formality and in-depth discussion of strategic, organizaonal, doctrinal and and conceptual aspects (conferences), along with a technical and operaonal approach, focused on audiences with specific interests in cybersecurity aspects (workshops, hand-on Labs).

Aiming a naonal and internaonal audience, thus featuring naonal and internaonal speakers, moderators and internaonal industry, part of the event may occur in English language (except the opening and closing of the event), hence real-me translaon services will be available.

Considering the focus and topics of interest, the program reflects cybersecurity’s training and implementaon roadmap, which is coincident with the approach approved and applied by CNCS towards naonal organizaons.
