TARTAS LA ABUELA nace de la mano de D. Joaquín Rodríguez Lestayo y su esposa en el año 1982 con el principal objetivo de fabricar y comerciali-zar la Tarta de Santiago, postre tradicional gallego por excelencia.
Así surge nuestra empresa, basa-da en criterios que ellos mismos ponen en práctica, como la independencia, la respon-sabilidad, la calidad, el compromiso…
Tras un continuo crecimiento y di-versificación, se inauguran en el año 2000 unas nuevas y modernas instalaciones, y ya consolidada como una de las empre-sas más importantes del sector, se inicia una nueva fase coincidiendo con la en-trada de la segunda generación familiar. Innovación en los productos, inversión en maquinaria de vanguardia, rigurosos controles de calidad y el apostar decidi-damente por las mejores materias primas, es lo que explica nuestro éxito.

TARTAS LA ABUELA was created by JoaquÌn Rodríguez Lest-ayo and his wife in 1982 with the main aim of making and commercialising the St James Cake (Tarta de Santiago), a tradi-tional Galician dessert par excellence.
This gave rise to our company, based on the criteria they put into prac-tice, such as independence, responsibility, quality and commitment, etc.
After continuous growth and di-versification, new, modern facilities were opened in the year 2000 and the compa-ny consolidated its position as one of the most important in its sector. Furthermore, a new phase began with the arrival of the second generation of the family. Our suc-cess has come on the back of innovation in products, investment in cutting-edge machinery, strict quality controls and a firm commitment to using the best raw materials.
In this brochure, my aim is to pre-sent you with a careful selection of our work.
