Pixan ha sido el nombre que en AMA (Asociación de Mujeres del Altipla-no) hemos dado al proyecto por

medio del cual generamos ingresos económicos para nuestras familias,

asegurándonos salarios justos mien-tras aprendemos nuevas habilidades

y nos brindamos apoyo mutuo.

Durante los últimos tres años nos hemos visto beneficiadas más 500 mujeres mediante el aprendizaje y

manufacturación de tejidos y confec-ciòn de productos de alta costura.

Pixan is the name that we in AMA (Association of Highland Women) have given to our project that is

meant to provide income to our fam-ilies and assure us fair wages while we learn new skills and help each

other.

During the last three years, we have benefited more than 500 wom-

en through the knowledge and the weaving of fabrics and the manufac-

ture of haute couture products.
