1) 環境問題の国際・地域間での比較Comparison of environmental problems among different countries and areas.
2） 環境問題の国際・地域間での関係Relationships between environmental problems occurring in different countries and areas.
★理系・文系、診断・治療の両面から。Covering natural, social & human aspects, anddiagnosis & treatment of environmental issues.
3） 環境問題の時間的・空間的構造の理解Analyses of Spatio-Tempotal Structures of environmental problems.
基礎環境学講究1-Cの進め方Class of Basic Environmental Study 1-C
★Seminar : Every 2 weeks intervals.
★Presentation of topics : 50 minutes, and Free discussion : 40 minutes.
★Presentations will be given by Professors, PD, PhD students and sometimes experts of other institutes.
<Final Goal: To write a textbook on the subject of this seminar by the end of this academic year (~March 2011)>
★ the contents of the chapters of the “Textbook” will be chosen according to the discussion in the seminar. The authors of the “Textbook” will be all of the participants of the seminar.

２０世紀は開発による環境破壊が地球規模で行われた時代であった。こうした開発による環境破壊を防ぐことは不可能なのか。対立的に論じられてきた環境と開発の根本的な問題を、日本の深刻な公害経験をふまえ、世界、アジア、日本の現状をリアルに分析することによって解明し、サステイナブルな発展の道を探る。環境と都市、環境と農業・農村、アメニティ、環境資源と開発、自然保護と森林などの基本的分野をカバーする。
