1) About 99% of the plastic raw materials are fossil fuels, the United States shale gas technology has made revolutionary progress, the cost of plastic raw materials has been substantially reduced 60%, the next 10 years, plastic production surge 40%, large most plastic final “destination” is not in the landfill, is in the sea. (99%塑膠來自石油,美國頁岩油技術提升,塑膠原物料成本降低60%,未來10年塑膠產品增加40%,最終不是填埋就在海洋) 。

2) The North Pacific Ocean has an area of more than 1.39 million kM2 of rubbish and is about 39 times the size of the Taiwan. The rubbish comes from every country in the Pacific Rim. 1) Plastic waste is available resources, their are long-chain hydrocarbon compounds macromolecule polymer, not easily broken down by microorganisms, our technology non-combustion can convert waste plastic into hydrogen energy 。(塑膠廢棄物是可用的資源,長鏈碳氫化合物,微生物不容易分解,利用我們的技術將它們轉化為氫能源) 。

2) At present, governments of various countries are still have no solution to do with the Garbage Sea, only issue marine safety warnings and carry out long-term monitoring, and hoping to find effective solutions as soon as possible.(目前世界各國還沒有對垃圾海有好的解決方案,只能長期安全警告及監測,期待能很快有效解決) 。

Waste Incineration and landfill 廢棄物焚燒與掩埋

1) Our technical team develops waste solutions and follows the concept of circular

economy: conversion of inorganic waste into new semiconductor materials and

conversion of organic waste into Hydrogen energy。(我們技術團隊以循環經濟

概念,研發廢棄物處置,無機廢棄物轉化新材料,有機廢棄物轉化氫能源) 。

2) We do not agree with the current global adoption of waste incineration and

landfills for final disposal because both contain potential secondary pollution。

(我們不同意目前全球以焚燒及掩埋手段為廢棄物處理,潛在二次污染)。

1) Pollution hazards and environmental protection are no boundaries and their

beyond the political realm. (污染危害和環境保護是無國界的,它們超越了政

治領域。)

2) Dr. Olusoji Adeyi: believes that pollution problems disproportionately affect

poor and vulnerable people, while children face the highest risks. “From local,

national and global levels, it is important to translate ideas into actions”. (污染

問題對窮人和弱勢群體的影響過大,而兒童面臨的風險最高。 “從地方,國

家和全球層面來看,將理念化為行動是非常重要的”。)

Conclusion 結論1) We thank the organizer Shalun Green Science City Office (沙崙綠能科學城辦

公室) and Okinawa OSIP office (沖繩智慧島計畫辦公室) providing this

cooperation forum.

2) We are certain that hydrogen is the carrier of energy. and the main-stream of

energy use in the world in the future 50 years. But we don’t to consume non-

renewable resources to obtain Hydrogen energy. (我們確信氫是能源的載體.

接下來50年內將為能源主流,但我們不要以不可再生資源獲得氫能源。)

3) We research and develop the concept of circular economy of waste as a

source of Hydrogen and look forward to leaving more resources to future

generations. (我們以循環經濟概念,將廢棄物轉化為氫能源,期待留一些

有用資源給後代子孫。)

4) Expertise and technology are the common resources of mankind. Under the

concept of shared knowledge, we expect to make good use of this knowledge

to create the well-being of human beings. (專業與知識是人類共同的資產,

共享知識的概念下,我們期望善用這些知識來創造人類的共同福祉。)

5) Taiwan and Japan share quite a lot of common cultural identities. On the basis

of equal treatment, we hope that will upgrade each other through open and

frank cooperation with each other. (台灣和日本有很多共同的文化認同。我

們希望在平等對待的基礎上,通過坦誠的合作,互相提升。)
