Solutions For BMS Active Chip

Solution 1: ADI BMS Solution Advantage:• The cells Ad7280 could monitor and balance 6 chips.

• Safety monitor - enables creation of a fail-safe circuit and safe environment to the user (AD8280). • Battery management unit–controls and manages battery functions to optimize operation (Blackfin ADSP-50x).

Solution 2: Atmel BMS Solution Advantage: • ATA6870each chip could monitor 6 cells and connect 16 chips.

and could keep the balance the active or passive battery by cooperating with outline e electric circuit. • ATA6871, each chip could monitor 4-6 cell and connect 16 chips. • The controller check the voltage and electric current of battery. and manage related MOS and the function of communication

Solution 3: Infineon BMS Solution Advantage: • Infineon’s chip is without , and it is based on MCU.

• It is battery balance solution for energy transfer of transformer • Configured according to the model of Infineon E-Chart, the average balanced current is up to 5A,which is 50 times higher than passive current’s solution . It improve the energy balance.

Solution 4: Intersil BMS Solution Advantage: • ISL78600 each chip could monitor 6-12 cell and have the function

of inspecting voltage temperature, balance battery and SOC. • ISL786001 each chip could inspect 6-12 cell.

Solution 5: Linear BMS Solution Advantage: • Linear the chip for high level battery management and battery charge • The battery management chip has LTC6802-1 and battery monitor • Could measure the voltage of up to 12 series battery (Max: 60V) • Could carry out the system of over 1000V • Each battery’s input has the related switch , used to discharge the over-charged battery

Solution 6: Maxim BMS Solution Advantage: • Max11080: each chip could monitor 1-12 cell, and could connect

with up to 31chips. • Max11068: each chip could monitor 1-12 cell, and could connect with up to 31chips and has function of passive balance.
