Discovery Learning is an idea of Piaget’s. Children need to actively discover meaning. In this game they are discovering what characteristics species have in common, those which may seem to be in the same group but belong to another classification.An added bonus is sequencing, the teams will have to work together to keep them in order.At the end of the game the teacher may get the results and put them in a table in Excel and then make a chart from the results using the students to demonstrate this.
