● Remove the plug
● Turn off the water inlet tap.
● All Candy appliances areearthed. Ensure that themain electricity circuit isearthed. Contact a qualifiedelectrician if this is not thecase.
Appliance complieswith European Directives73/23/EEC and 89/336/EEC,replaced by 2006/95/EC and2004/108/EC, andsubsequent amendments.
● Do not touch theappliance with wet or damphands or feet.
● Do not use the appliancewhen bare-footed.
● Extreme care should betaken if extension leads areused in bathrooms or showerrooms. Avoid this wherepossible.
WARNING: DURING THE WASHING CYCLE, THE WATER CAN REACH A TEMPERATURE OF 90°C.
● Before opening thewashing machine door,ensure that there is no waterin the drum.

SETTING UPINSTALLATION
Move the machine near itspermanent position withoutthe packaging base.
Carefully cut the securingstrap that holds the maincord and the drain hose.
Remove the 4 fixing screwsmarked (A) and remove the4 spacers marked (B)
Cover the 4 holes using thecaps provided in theinstruction booklet pack.
WARNING:DO NOT LEAVE THEPACKAGING IN THEREACH OF CHILDRENAS IT IS A POTENTIALSOURCE OF DANGER.

Smestite ma‰inuneposredno do zida.Obratite paÏnju da pritome dovodno i odvodnocrevo nije savijeno ilipritisnuto. Odvodno crevozatim obesite preko rubakade.
Znatno je bolje ako uvodovodnoj instalacijipredvidite stalni odvod, kojimora biti veçeg promera ododvodnog creva, a moratega postaviti na visninajmanje 50 cm od poda.Ako je potrebno, koristite ipriloÏeni plastiãni savijeninosaã odvodnog creva.
Fix the sheet of corrugatedmaterial on the bottom asshown in picture.
Connect the fill hose to the tap.
The appliance must beconnected to the watermains using new hose-sets.The old hose-sets should notbe reused.
IMPORTANT:DO NOT TURN THE TAP ON AT THIS TIME.
Position the washingmachine next to the wall.Hook the outlet tube to theedge of the bath tub,paying attention that thereare no bends orcontractions along the tube.
It is better to connect thedischarge hose to a fixedoutlet of a diameter greaterthan that of the outlet tubeand at a height of min. 50cm. If is necessary to use theplastic sleeve supplied.

Proverite da li su svi tasteri napoloÏaju "OFF" odnosnoiskljuãeni i da li su vrata ma‰inezatvorena.

Use the 4 feet to level themachine with the floor:
a) Turn the nut clockwise torelease the screw adjuster ofthe foot.
b) Rotate foot to raise orlower it until it stands firmly onthe ground.
c) Lock the foot in positionby turning the nut anti-clockwise until it comes upagainst the bottom of themachine.
Ensure that the knob is on the“OFF” position and the loaddoor is closed
Insert the plug.
ATTENTION:should it be necessary toreplace the supply cord,connect the wire inaccordance with thefollowing colours/codes:

Svetlosni indikator "zakljuãanihvrata" svetli kada su vratapotpuno zatvorena a ma‰inaje ukljuãena.Ako se ma‰ina pokrene(pritisak na taster START) sazatvorenim vratima svetlosniindikator çe na tren zatreptatia nakon toga çe svetleti.
Ako vrata nisu potpunozatvorena svetlosni indikatorçe neprekidno treptati.
Ma‰ina ima ugradjenuposebnu sigurnosnu napravukoja spreãava otvaranje vrataodmah po zavr‰etku ciklusapranja.Nakon ‰to zavr‰i ciklus pranjasaãekajte oko 2 minuta prenego ‰to otvorite vratama‰ine, takodje saãekajte dasvetlosni indikator "zakljuãanihvrata" prestane da svetli.
Nakon zavr‰etka ciklusapranja, dugme programatoraokrenite na poloÏaj OFF.

Press the finger-bar inside the door handle to open thedoor
IMPORTANT:A SPECIAL SAFETYDEVICE PREVENTS THEDOOR FROM OPENINGAT THE END OF THEWASH/SPIN CYCLE. ATTHE END OF THE SPINPHASE WAIT UP TO 2MINUTES BEFOREOPENING THE DOOR.
DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR
The “Door Locked” indicatorlight is illuminated when thedoor is fully closed and themachine is ON.When START is pressed onthe machine with the doorclosed the indicator will flashmomentarily and thenilluminate.
If the door is not closed theindicator will continue toflash.
A special safety deviceprevents the door frombeing opened immediatelyafter the end of the cycle.Wait for 2 minutes after thewash cycle has finished andthe Door Locked light hasgone out before openingthe door. At the end of cycleturn the programmeselector to OFF .

Program pranja moÏe bitiprivremeno zaustavljen(pauza) u bilo kom trenutkutokom ciklusa pranja tako dana oko dve sekunde drÏitepritisnut taster "START/PAUSE".
Kada je ma‰ina privremenozaustavljena treptaçe svetlosniindikatori "vreme do kraja",brzina centrifuge i opcionitasteri.Da ponovo pokreneteprogram pranja jo‰ jednompritisnite taster START.
Ako tokom pranja Ïelite dodatiili izvaditi ve‰, saãekajte okodva minuta kako bi sigurnosniuredjaj omoguçio otvaranjevrata.Nako ‰to ste to izveli, zatvoritevrata, pritisnite taster START ima‰ina çe nastaviti sa radomod taãke gde je bilazaustavljena.

CHANGING THE SETTINGSAFTER THE PROGRAMMESHAS STARTED (PAUSE)The programme may bepaused at any time duringthe wash cycle by holdingdown the “START/PAUSE”button for about 4 seconds.When the machine is in thepaused mode, a “washstage” indicator light andoption buttons will flash.To restart the programmepress the START button onceagain.
If you wish to add or removeitems during washing, wait 2minutes until the safetydevice unlocks the door.When you have carried outthe manoeuvre, close thedoor, press START button andthe appliance will continueworking where it left off.

By pressing this button youcan activate a special newwash cycle in the Colourfastand Mixed Fabricsprograms, thanks to the newSensor System. This optiontreats with care the fibres ofgarments and the delicateskin of those who wearthem.The load is washed in amuch larger quantity ofwater and this, together withthe new combined actionof the drum rotation cycles,where water is filled andemptied, will give yougarments which have beencleaned and rinsed toperfection. The amount ofwater in the wash isincreased so that thedetergent dissolvesperfectly, ensuring anefficient cleaning action. Theamount of water is alsoincreased during the rinseprocedure so as to removeall traces of detergent fromthe fibres.This function has beenspecifically designed forpeople with delicate andsensitive skin, for whom evena very small amount ofdetergent can causeirritation or allergy.You are advised to also usethis function for children’sclothing and for delicatefabrics in general, or whenwashing garments made oftowelling, where the fibrestend to absorb a greaterquantity of detergent.To ensure the bestperformance for your wash,this function is alwaysactivated on the Delicatesand Woollens/Handwashprograms.

COTTON PROGRAMME with a temperature of 60°CCOTTON PROGRAMME with a temperature of 40°C
These programmes are suitable to clean normally soiled cotton laundry and they are themost efficient programmes in terms of combined energy and water consumptions forwashing cotton laundry.These programmes have been developed to be compliant with the temperature on thewash label on the garments and the actual water temperature may slightly differ from thedeclared temperature of the cycle.
The spin speed may also be reduced, to match any guidelines suggested on thefabric label, or for very delicate fabrics cancel the spin completely this option isavailable with a spin speed button.
When only a limited number of articles have stains which require treatment withliquid bleaching agents, preliminary removal of stain can be carried out in thewashing machine.Pour the bleach into the liquid bleach container, inserted into the compartmentmarked "2" in the detergent drawer, and set the special programme "RINSE" .When this phase has terminated, turn the programme selector on the "OFF"position, add the rest of the fabrics and proceed with a normal wash on the mostsuitable programme.

Kod svih programa moÏete po potrebi smanjiti brzinu centrifugiranja odnajveçe predvidjene brzine za pojedinaãan program, pri pranju veomaosetljivih tkanina moÏete iskljuãiti centrifugiranje. To ãinite uz pomoç dugmetaza smanjenje brzine centrifugiranja.
Ako su na pojedinim delovima fleke koje treba odstraniti uz pomoç teãnogizbeljivaãa, preporuãujemo, da postupak odradite u ma‰ini pre nego ‰tonapunite ma‰inu ostalim ve‰om.Odmerite teãni izbeljivaã u posebnu pregradu, sme‰ten u pregradu "2"(pregrada za deterdÏent za glavno pranje) i izaberite poseban programispiranje. SELECTION
For the various types of fabricsand various degrees of dirt thewashing machine has 4 differentprogramme bands accordingto: wash cycle, temperature andlenght of cycle (see table ofwashing cycle programmes).
1 RESISTANTS FABRICSThe programmes have beendesigned for a maximum washand the rinses, with spin intervals,ensure perfect rinsing.The final spin gives more efficientremoval of water.
2 MIXED AND SYNTHETIC FABRICS The main wash and the rinsegives best results thanks to therotation rhythms of the drumand to the water levels.A gentle spin will mean that thefabrics become less creased.
3 SPECIAL DELICATE FIBRES This is a new wash cycle whichalternates washing and soakingand is particularlyrecommended for very delicatefabrics.The wash cycle and rinses arecarried out with high water levelsto ensure best results.
WOOL & HAND WASHPROGRAMMEThis programme allows acomplete washing cycle forgarments specified as “Machine-Washable” Wool fabrics andlaundry items specified as “HandWash only” on the fabric label. Theprogramme has a maximumtemperature of 30°C andconcludes with 3 rinses, one forfabric conditioner, and a slowspin.

FILTER CLEANINGThe washing-machine isequipped with a special filterto retain large foreign matterwhich could clog up thedrain, such as coins, buttons,etc. These can, therefore,easily be recovered. Theprocedures for cleaning thefilter are as follows:
● Open the flap
● Only available on certainmodels:Pull out the corrugated hose,remove the stopper anddrain the water into acontainer.
● Before removing the filter,place an absorbent towelbelow the filtercap to collect the smallamount of water likely to beinside the pump
● Turn the filter anticlockwisetill it stops in vertical position.
● Remove and clean.
● After cleaning, replace byturning the notch on the endof the filter clockwise. Thenfollow all proceduresdescribed above in reverseorder.
REMOVALS OR LONG PERIODSWHEN THE MACHINE IS LEFTSTANDING
For eventual removals orwhen the machine is leftstanding for long periods inunheated rooms, the drainhose should be emptied ofall remaining water.
The appliance must beswitched off and unplugged.A bowl is needed. Detachthe drainage hose from theclamp and lower it over thebowl until all the water isremoved.
Repeat the same operationwith the water inlet hose.

NOTE:THE MACHINE IS FITTED WITH A SPECIAL ELECTRONIC DEVICE, WHICH PREVENTS THE SPIN CYCLESHOULD THE LOAD BE UNBALANCED.THIS REDUCES THE NOISE AND VIBRATION IN THE MACHINE AND SO PROLONGS THE LIFE OF YOURMACHINE.
If the fault should persist, contact a Candy Technical Assistance Centre. For prompt servicing, give the model ofthe washing machine, to be found on the label placed on the cabinet inside of the porthole or on theguarantee certificate.Important1 The use of environment friendly detersives without phosphates may produce the following effects:
- The discharge rinse water may result cloudier due to the presence of zeolites in suspension. This does notcompromise the efficiency of the rinses.
- The presence of white powder (zeolites) on the washing at the end of the washing cycle. This does notremain incorporated in the fabric and does not alter the colour.
- The presence of foam in the last rinse water which is not necessarily a sign of inadequate rinsing.- The non-ionic surface-active agents present in the composition of washing machine detersives are often
difficult to remove from the washing itself and, even in small quantities, may produce visible signs of theformation of foam.
- Carrying out further rinses, in cases such as this, is not useful.2 If your washing machine fails to function, carry out the above-mentioned checks before calling the Candy
Technical Assistance Service.

UPOZORENJE !1. Kori‰çenje ekolo‰kih sredstava za pranje "bez fosfata" moÏe imati sledeçe popratne pojave:- Voda koja protiãe (cirkuli‰e) tokom ispiranja izgledaçe mutno, ali neçe menjati delotvornost ispiranja.- V rlo tanak sloj belog taloga moÏe se pojaviti na opranom rublju. Medjutim, on neçe ni na koji naãin ‰tetititkanini ili izmeniti njenu boju.- Prisutnost pene u vodi od zadnjeg ispiranja ne znaãi da je ispiranje bilo nepotpuno.- Aktivne anjone koji se nalaze u sredstvima za pranje "bez fosfata" ãesto je te‰ko odstraniti i samim pranjem,zato se voda pri ispiranju peni ãak i ako oni postoje u malim koliãinama.- Dodatno ispiranje ne bi bilo od koristi za smanjenje ove pojave.
