Coding Club: Programming Fun with Scratch

Introduction The workshop aims to encourage students to go beyond mobile and computer gaming and move to design their own game and experience the thinking from the prospective of a producer. Through this community approach learning environment, students would arouse their interest and discuss coding among themselves. Students will obtain hands on computer programming experiences through Scratch, a graphical programming language developed by MIT Media Lab. Students can drag and combine code blocks to make a range of programs, learn coding concepts and create interactive projects without needing to learn a text-based programming language, the complexity of computer programming is greatly reduced.
