IBM Cognos Financial Statement Reporting (FSR) V6.6 provides a powerful set ofcontrols to allow users to create and manage both internal and external type reportsin a very efficient manner. With the ability to leverage full capabilities of workflow,users are able to work and collaborate in real time.

Cognos FSR capabilities

Link source data to report data

Every number in the final report can be linked directly back to a single datasource ensuring that there are no conflicting numbers anywhere in the report.Changes to that source number automatically cascade through the report. Thisensures there is only one version of the truth.

Use prior report as a template for the next report

New reports typically contain the same sections as previous reports, reuse thesame data sources (for instance, revenue, net income, and so on) and evenrecreate the look and feel of previous reports.

The latest data is automatically loaded into a report template that ispreformatted, letting you focus on editing the document rather than collecting,consolidating, and formatting the data.

Powerful built-in XBRL functionality

Users can easily tag financial data and commentary once and have itautomatically flow to future reports. At any point during the tagging process,users can render their XBRL tagged financials for review, and FSR automaticallyruns XBRL validation throughout the tagging process to ensure tags are accurate.

Collaboration

Each section of a document can be assigned to a separate user so that anynumber of users can work on the same document simultaneously.

Internal control

A comprehensive set of internal controls is provided to ensure that the propersteps are being followed in the creation, submission, and approval of eachsection in the document.

A workflow process tracks the status of each section of the document, with duedates and responsibility assignments.

With workflow, the administrator can easily see the status of each section of thedocument, which sections are overdue, and who is responsible for each section.

An automated method is provided to round your financial data to thousands ormillions while ensuring that all numbers tie in to the bottom line totals.

Business rules

In some organizations, data may come from a variety of sources. Cognos FSRbusiness rules ensure that summary data in one section of the document alwaysties in to detailed data that may exist elsewhere in the document.

The information provided in this announcement letter is for reference andconvenience purposes only. The terms and conditions that govern any transactionwith IBM are contained in the applicable contract documents such as the IBMInternational Program License Agreement, IBM International Passport AdvantageAgreement, and the IBM Agreement for Acquisition of Software Maintenance.

Licensing

IBM International Program License Agreement including the License Informationdocument and Proof of Entitlement (PoE) govern your use of the program. PoEs arerequired for all authorized use.

Part number products only, offered outside of Passport Advantage, where applicable,are license only and do not include Software Maintenance.

This software license includes Software Subscription and Support (also referred to asSoftware Maintenance).

Program-unique terms

(1) License translations

Licensee may review a translated version of the IBM International Program LicenseAgreement (IPLA) and the License Information ("LI") document for this program at

By clicking 'I Accept' on this Agreement, licensee accepts the translated version in

the language required by local law.

(2) Cumulative entitlements

IBM Cognos Financial Statement Reporting (FSR) requires licensing of bothAuthorized User and Virtual Server entitlements. Licensee must obtain sufficientAuthorized User entitlements to cover the users of the program described belowas well as the appropriate number of Virtual Server entitlements for the relevantservers described below.

(3) Server license types

(3.1) Reporting types

Internal reporting is defined as generating reports for review by employees withinlicensee's enterprise.

External reporting is defined as generating reports for review by any individualoutside licensee's enterprise.

(3.2) Virtual Server

Licensee is required to obtain the appropriate Virtual Server license entitlement asspecified in Section 3.3: Entitlement Tiers. Compliance review on an annual basisfrom the date of acquisition is required with a trade up to higher tiers to remaincompliant. Licensee may not trade down to a lower tier.

(3.3) Entitlement tiers

Revenue is the standard criteria for defining the appropriate entitlement as shownin Table: Revenue Based. Revenue is defined in billions (B) of US dollars. Licensee'srevenue will be based on the revenue reported in licensee's last publicly publishedannual report, or for private company's valid documentation of annual revenue.Licensee's revenue will be converted to US dollars on sales quote initiation and oneach subsequent annual compliance review using the average "intra bank rate" from

the historical rates tab at

Always use prior day rates. The conversion will expire after 30 days from new salesquote generation or Subscription and Support (S&S) anniversary date.

Table: Revenue Based

Cognos FSR Enterprise Edition is required for companies with annual revenuereported at $ USD 20,000,000,000, and higher.

Cognos FSR Standard Edition is required for companies with annual revenuereported at $ USD 5,000,000,000 and less than $ USD 20,000,000,000.

Cognos FSR SME Edition is required for companies with annual revenue reported at$ USD 1,000,000,000 and less than $ USD 5,000,000,000.

Cognos FSR Basic Edition is required for companies with annual revenue reported atless than $ USD 1,000,000,000.

For the Public Sector, when revenue is not available, the number of employees bysite will be the criteria for defining the appropriate entitlement as shown in Table:Employee Count Based. Public Sector is defined as all industries or services providedor funded by the government; whether national, regional or local or municipal. Thelicensee's number of employees will be validated on an annual basis using the latestquarterly report from the US Office of Personnel Management found at the websitebelow or from similar state, local, and international government personnel reports.

Cognos FSR Enterprise Edition is required for Public Sector licensees with totalemployee count at 7,500, and higher.

Cognos FSR Standard Edition is required for Public Sector licensees with totalemployee count at 3,000 and less than 7,500.

(3.4) License dependencies

For each Virtual Server entitlement of the programs listed below, licensee isrequired to have acquired (i) a minimum of one Cognos FSR Full Access AuthorizedUser entitlement and (ii) up to the number of additional users of the program, aseither Cognos FSR Full Access Authorized User or Cognos FSR eXtensible BusinessReporting Language (XBRL) Authorized User entitlements.

IBM will maintain this information for at least one year after the original licensee

acquires the program (warranty period).

Program technical support

Technical support of a program product version or release will be available for aminimum of five years from the general availability date, as long as your SoftwareMaintenance is in effect. This technical support allows you to obtain assistance(via telephone or electronic means) from IBM for product-specific, task-orientedquestions regarding the installation and operation of the program product. SoftwareMaintenance also provides you with access to updates (modifications or fixes),releases, and versions of the program. You will be notified, via announcementletter, of discontinuance of support with 12 months' notice. If you require additionaltechnical support from IBM, including an extension of support beyond thediscontinuance date, contact your IBM representative or IBM Business Partner. Thisextension may be available for a fee.

Money-back guarantee

For clarification, note that if for any reason you are dissatisfied with the programand you are the original licensee, you may obtain a refund of the amount you paidfor it, if within 30 days of your invoice date you return the program and its PoE tothe party from whom you obtained it. If you downloaded the program, you maycontact the party from whom you acquired it for instructions on how to obtain therefund.
