The   Oxford   Diction-­ary   defines   banter  as   “the   playful   and  friendly  exchange  of  friendly  remarks”

Banter  was  invented  by   Professor   Henry  Banter  in  1976  at  the  University  of  Oxford  Linguistic   Depart-­ment.

At   the  World  Banter  Olympics,  Great  Brit-­ain  won  seven  golds  including   the   Team  Pursuit   and   Men’s  Steeplechase.
