Developing Your Talent Strategy

Andrea Moore, CPLP, CEC, Senior Consulting Manager, FlashPoint

We all know how demanding the field of HR can be. The day-to-day practical issues you face are

challenging, and, on top of that, you must always focus on the big-picture, critical issues that af-

fect your organization. This session will introduce the competencies that can improve your per-

sonal performance and the success of your business. These include mastering the role of credible

activist, operational executor, business ally, talent manager/organization designer, culture and

change steward, and strategy architect. You’ll leave with a blueprint of how to maximize your HR

impact through involvement in and implementation of strategic initiatives.

Andrea Moore is senior consulting manager at FlashPoint, an Indianapolis-based human resource and business consulting firm.

She supports organizations by developing leaders, coaching team members, and exploring ways to improve employee perform-

ance. She has extensive experience as a workplace learning professional, and she is passionate about using her skills and knowl-

edge to help others reach their potential.

The Journey From HR Metrics to Analytics: Where are You?

Rob Eidson, Specialist Leader, Deloitte Consulting

As an HR professional, you know that organizations are increasingly moving toward utilizing data and

information to drive their most important HR decisions. Company leaders desire more sophisticated

data and modeling solutions to advance decision-making capabilities. To make the shift, HR profession-

als will need to transition to utilizing new data and analytic-driven processes and tools with a focus on

building the capabilities in HR to operate in a data-rich environment. This shift does not happen over-

night; rather, it’s a journey which must be planned and which includes a great deal of training. From this

session, you will gain an introductory understanding of the power of workforce analytics and what is

needed to operate and be successful in this space.

Rob Eidson is a Specialist Leader with Deloitte Consulting, focused on HR Reporting, Metrics & Analytics. He has worked in the HR

Technology & HR Reporting space for over 25 years, and is a leading expert for implementing solutions in this field. He has pre-

sented at many IHRIM conferences, as well as SHRM, PeopleSoft, ADP and other user conferences. Rob provides thought leader-

ship as well as practical capability for HR to advance its data and analytics capabilities.

The Election, QE3, The Fiscal Cliff, etc. . . Should We Man the Life Boats?

Bob Jones, CEO, Old National Bank

The title of this session says it all. As Bob Jones shares his perspective on the economy and business

climate, you’ll gain an understanding of how these factors impact HR.

Robert G. Jones is the President and CEO of Old National Bancorp and a member of its board of di-

rectors. He assumed this position in September 2004. Prior to joining Old National, Jones served for

25 years at KeyCorp. While Jones has been the CEO and President of Old National, the company has

received national recognition. In 2010, the company was awarded the Award of Excellence for Cor-

porate Engagement by the Points of Light Foundation (co recipients were AT&T, Intel and Campbell

Soup). In 2012 the company was recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies, by the

prestigious Ethisphere Institute and ONB was the only commercial bank in the United States to be

honored. And later in 2012, Old National Bank was awarded Employee Volunteer Program of the Year for outstanding innovation,

commitment and leadership in corporate community involvement by VolunteerMatch. Jones serves on the Federal Reserve Bank

of St. Louis Board of Directors, where he is a member of its Executive Committee and Chairs the Audit Committee. He is also on

the Board of Directors of Vectren (NYSE -VVC), where he serves on the Finance and Community Affairs committees.
